The first thing you must do is sign up for a free Gmail.com account. Use an attractive username for even better results. Something like mine "myautoimbiz" will work fine. If you want use the same username, just change the number at the end. "myautoimbiz1"
Log into your new Gmail account, and click on the "Settings" tab. From the drop down menu choose "Settings" again.
Next scroll down until you see "Vacation responder" line.

I also would highly recommend you set up your Reply-to address, so when someone emails you back, after receiving the initial info from your autoresponder, their letter does not land into your autoresponder account, but into you primary email account. You reply to them directly from your primary email address.
Here is how to set-up your Reply-to address. Click on the "Settings" same as above in the first image, only this time you are going to the account tab.
Next go to the "Send mail as:" which points to your Gmail address. To the right side of it there is a link " " "edit info". Click on it. A smaller pop up window will appear with "Reply-to address" box.
In this box just type your prime email address or the email address you want to use.
Finally click on "Save Changes" button and you are done.
Now your autoresponder is ready to work. All you have to do is forward prospects to its address, and it will do the rest of the work for you.
If you intend to promote using classified ads, here is a good one that you can use:

For email promotions, you can use the same or similar messages, below is an example.

Of course you can use any subject line and body messages, as long as they convince your prospects to email to your autoresponder email address.
